Branch Manager

Ahern Rentals is looking for a Branch Manager with rental experience to oversee the day-to-day duties, develop a plan for future growth and execute both successfully. This position needs to maximize customer satisfaction, safety and company assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and direct staff to maximize service while minimizing cost
  • Coordinate with Sales department to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work with Service department to provide rental ready equipment
  • Conduct safety meetings. Report and investigate any accidents that may occur
  • Provide feedback to employees through casual conversations, corrective action and review process
  • Interview candidates maintain proper staffing levels
  • Various administrative duties. Must maintain accurate files and log books
  • Other duties, as assigned by Management

  • 3 years previous management experience
  • Previous rental experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Previous experience with Wynne and Baan systems, a plus
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check
  • Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)

The Branch Manager has constant interactions in person, over the phone and by electronic communications with employees, coworkers and customers. Good communication and customer service skills are required to be successful in this position.
