Parts Clerk (Part Time)

Ahern Rentals is looking for a Parts Clerk to unload deliveries and manage inventory levels through transfers and part requests. The Part Clerk assists customers face to face and over the phone. This position must be able to understand customer’s needs and make suggestions based upon our inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Unload delivery truck
  • Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and remove out of code products
  • Provide superior customer service, in person and over the telephone
  • Respond quickly and accurately to part requests from shop personnel
  • Maintain accurate files and log books
  • Other duties, as assigned by Management

  • 1 year auto parts experience
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, certification or previous experience a plus
  • Must be computer literate
  • Previous rental experience a plus
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check
  • Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)
