Inside Sales Lead I Position

 

Reports to: Director of Inside Sales

 

Summary of Job description:

ISR Leader position is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to customers through the nightly/daily supervision of a team of employees to include motivating, coaching, training, problem solving and keeping all on task. Additionally communicates with the ISR Director weekly regarding all of the above.

Develop and maintain current customer and new customer relationships while seeking to grow sales and gross profits through customer service excellence. An Inside Sales Rep in this position must have knowledge of construction equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, lawnmowers, power washers, etc. Upselling, probing, talent to build customer relationships, understanding various Industrial Markets, convention expertise, and clerical skills are necessary to succeed in this position.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with review/approving of payroll as needed
  • Assist with employee Perfomance Evaluations as needed
  • Assist with conducting training classes as needed
  • Assist in conducting interviews for department
  • Assist with tracking department numbers/reports
  • Provide daily/nightly direction and communication to the team to ensure calls are answered efficiently and requests are processed timely
  • Insure all employees on shift are adhering to attendance policy to include clocking in/out for lunch and managing Cisco Agent per company/department policy
  • Responds to and resolves employee issues/needs and/or bring them to management for assistance with resolution
  • Creates and maintains a high quality work environment
  • Assist Outside Sales Team
  • Account Management for existing customer base
  • Identify and resolve customer problems and/or needs
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding new/existing contracts   
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding equipment rates and delivery tracking
  • Data entry, filing and special projects
  • Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis

 

Organizational Relationships

Reports directly to their designated supervisor. Provides daily/nightly direction and communication to team, keeping all on task and productive.

  • Call center or rental counter experience preferred
  • Must be able to spell, read, write, speak fluent English

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. They include frequent sitting, standing, walking, frequent use of a keyboard and computer monitor. Talking for extended periods of time. No heavy lifting is expected, exertion (lift/push/pull) of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment. Ability to communicate with customers, management, sales representatives and other co-workers. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential.
