The ideal candidate should have supplemental experience with diverse security knowledge in a fast-paced enterprise environment.  This is an exempt level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the security tools used by Ahern Family of Companies

- Proofpoint for Email Security

- Forcepoint for off-prem Web Security

- Webroot and XDR agents for Anti-Virus

- ADAudit for domain audits

- Palo Alto firewalls and Fortinet for Firewalls

- Tenable for Patch and vulnerability scanner

- Workspace ONE for Mobile Device Management

- Desktop Central for patching

  • Respond to and remediate alerts by performing data and system analysis to find the root cause
  • Perform threat hunting by reviewing firewall and system logs and investigate anomalies
  • Perform vulnerability assessments on systems and networks
  • Tune the suite of security tools for accuracy and efficiency
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Monitor and process quarantined emails.
  • Improve the overall security capabilities by adding to our detection and analytic tools
  • Manage end user security awareness training and testing tools
  • Participate in 24 x 7 On-Call weeklong rotation as scheduled
  • Other duties, as assigned by Management
  • Assist in creating and maintaining process and procedure documentation
  • Experience with a Ticket and Project Management System

Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
