Ahern Rentals is looking for a dependable and efficient Certificate of Insurance Clerk – Lead to determine insurance certificate validity and contact agents and/or customers to resolve invalid certificates, within basic guidelines for routine certificates.

• Minimum of 3-5years experience in customer service or office administration
• Ideal candidate should be very organized, adaptable and be driven to meet deadlines
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently and independently with an outstanding attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Knowledge of construction equipment a plus
• Strong typing skills and basic computer skills
• Preferred familiarization with insurance certificates

• Tasks are assigned as needed and may vary from day to day
• Scan and Index various documents in OnBase
• Process all customer certificates of insurance
• Request revisions for certificates of insurance that do not meet the minimum requirements
• Request expiring certificates of insurance
• Research and process rental protection plan claims
• Work well with internal and external customers
• Open and sort incoming mail
• Responsible for taking phone calls and answering emails on a large volume
• Assist the Risk Department with various clerical and administrative projects as needed
• Manage COI and RPP reports and training
• Ensure the dept has proper coverage for phones/emails
