To continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are searching for a self-motivated Component Repair Technician (general labor) to join the Bonanza Rebuild location to diagnose, assemble and test core components for our organization.

Qualifications for the Component Repair Technician (general labor):

  • This position requires a positive attitude, fast paced personality, serious work ethic, excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Must be able to read English and follow instructions in parts/service manuals
  • Must be prompt and able to work overtime if necessary
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, lie down and kneel repeatedly (standing 80%)
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Must be a team player with strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to prioritize and perform a variety of tasks with varying levels of responsibilities while meeting deadlines
  • Flexibility to work under pressure in a constantly growing and changing industry
  • Must be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including Steel Toe Work boots
  • Properly care for shop tools and equipment

 

 Responsibilities of the Component Repair Technician (general labor):

  • Checking and sorting incoming cores
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect and diagnose cores received
  • Clean cores using solvents, pressure washers, scrapers etc.
  • Read, interpret and follow assembly drawings, diagrams and parts schematics to determine parts and assembly sequence
  • Process paperwork tracking labor and parts
  • Assemble components according to factory guidelines
  • Works with staff to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed
  • Test components and final inspection
  • Maintain proper storage and identification of cores and component parts
  • Complete tasks in an efficient manner to meet production requirements while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Other essential duties as assigned by management
